Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Parkddò ("we", "our", "the App"). Protecting your privacy is a priority. This policy describes how we handle, collect, and use your data when you use our mobile application.

The App is designed with a "local-first" principle: your parking data stays on your device. We use third-party services only when strictly necessary to provide features like maps, subscriptions, and ads.

1. Data we collect and how we use it

The app collects the following types of data for the stated purposes:

A. Location (GPS and Network)

  • Data: Precise or approximate geographic coordinates.
  • Purpose: Necessary to save the vehicle's location, display it on the map, and provide navigation directions.
  • Retention: Saved locations remain in your device's local memory until you delete them. They are temporarily shared with map providers for display and with ad networks (AdMob) to show relevant ads.

B. Financial and Purchase Data

  • Data: Purchase history and subscription status.
  • Purpose: Manage Premium plans (e.g., ad removal).
  • Providers: Transactions and subscription management are entirely handled by Google Play Store services. We do not have access to your credit card data nor your personal payment details.

C. Device Identifiers and Technical Data

  • Data: Advertising ID, device ID, phone model, operating system version, crash logs, and diagnostic data.
  • Purpose:
    • Advertising: Used by Google AdMob to show ads (including personalized ones, based on your device settings).
    • Security and Analytics: Used to verify license validity and analyze technical errors (crashes) to improve App stability.

2. Where data is stored (Storage)

  • User Data (Vehicles, Parking History): Stored exclusively locally on your device. If you uninstall the App or clear data from settings, this information is permanently removed.
  • Technical and Purchase Data: Processed by secure Google servers to ensure Store and Ad functionality.

3. Third-party services

The App integrates third-party services necessary for its operation:

  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): For delivering advertising content. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Play Billing: For secure in-app purchase management.
  • MapTiler / OSRM (or equivalent map services): For map visualization and route calculation.

4. Account Management

The App does not require creating a proprietary account (email/password registration). Purchase association happens via your Google Play Store account already present on the device.

5. Your rights and Data Deletion

  • Local Data Deletion: You can delete vehicles and saved locations directly from the App. Uninstalling the App deletes all locally saved data.
  • Consent Revocation: You can revoke Location access permission from your Android device settings.
  • Advertising Privacy: You can manage your preferences on personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID from your device's Google settings ("Ads" or "Privacy" section).

6. Security

We adopt standard security measures, such as using encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect communications between the App and external services.

7. Minors

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
